The Society's newest addition to the "Antiquities Collection" of fine gifts made from the marble of the East front steps originally installed 1863-65 and removed during the east front renovations. The marble has been ground to a fine powder and added to resin for the molding of these handsome desk or shelf accessories. Each bookend 7 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 2 1/2". Gift boxed with provenance.
