This embossed 4 1/2" diameter resin box has the look and feel of marble. It is crafted from some of the original steps removed during renovation of some steps from the Capitol's East Front in the 1990s. The marble is crushed to a fine powder and combined with resin to achieve the magnificent detail and stone like quality. Gift boxed with provenance brochure. Lincoln's image and signature are reproduced on the lid, surrounded by a field of stars, to commemorate the bicentennial of Lincoln's birth.
